Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley is a General Contractor that performs most of the construction work with the support of volunteer laborers.

However, for each build, we hire subcontractors who work with us across the spectrum of building projects working in new and existing building conditions that include occupied and non-occupied housing.

We hire small and large companies across a variety of trades, including the following: Excavation, Concrete/Masonry, Plumbing, Heating/HVAC, Electrical, Insulation, Drywall Finishing, Flooring, Cabinets, Plumbing, Countertops and Roofing.

**Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and to the requirements established by our funders. Habitat shall execute a written contract with each vendor that includes contract language as required to meet federal, state, and local regulations including licensing, OSHA safety standards, contract labor hours, liability insurance, clean air, clean water, and other laws and regulations as applicable. Subcontractors and their employees are expected to always conform to all applicable OSHA standards on Habitat jobsites. The subcontractor will be responsible for paying any fines incurred by Habitat due to OSHA violations by the subcontractor or their employees. Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley will consider bids that include, description of proposed scope of work that follows our standards and best practices, total bid amount, total donation amount reflected in the bid, proof of insurance, flexibility of time schedule, and other project specific information and documentation. Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley reserves the right to reject any or all bids without obligation.
